July Update

First and foremost, I apologize for the lack of blogging.  May and June revolved around the pregnancy news, and saying goodbye to my son.  He has gone to spend the summer with his father.

With such a quiet house, I focused on re-assessing my To Do list and goals for the year.  It was a good time for me to make such an assessment, since we are at the midpoint of the year.  I actually crossed quite a few things off the list, resolved to focus on only one writing project (The Aetheric Artifacts series), and getting things organized in preparation for the baby.

So there you have it.

Other than that, I can't complain.  The weather here is lovely: in the 60's and generally rainy.  It feels like spring or fall.

Everyone back home in the U.S. truly has my sympathy.  I cannot imagine how you are dealing with the heat there!  In England, they don't have AC (or screens on the windows), so if we had a summer like that, we would be completely miserable.

I hope all of you have AC, or at least plenty of fans and window screens.

Stay safe and cool, and especially take care of your elderly relatives and neighbors, and your pets!  Don't forget to put sunscreen on the children before taking them out to play.  ^.^
